Main Titik is the exercise-book game: two pens, one sheet of squared paper. Blue moves first with a filled dot; Red plays rings.
On your turn, put one dot on any empty point where the lines cross.
Close a ring of your dots around one or more of your opponent’s dots and you capture the whole area. Each step of the ring goes to a neighbouring point — straight or diagonal. The outline is drawn for you.
Every opposing dot inside the ring counts one point for you. Nobody can play inside a captured area, and captured dots no longer count as part of anyone’s ring.
The edge of the paper is not a wall: dots against the edge cannot be trapped there.
Careful with empty rings: put a dot inside an area your opponent has already closed off and it is captured straight away — unless that same dot completes a capture of your own.
A capture does not give you another turn. A bigger ring can still swallow an older one; dots already captured keep their first owner.
Pass if you have nothing useful to play. The game ends when both players pass in a row, or when no point is left. Most captured dots wins.
Board sizes: Small 12×12, Medium 16×16 or Large 20×20 points. Online games use Medium. On a phone with a big board, the first tap marks the point and a second tap places the dot.
Undo takes back your last turn. Games save automatically — leave and pick up later.
